Discover the 50g/m² Biotex 500micron Anti-Insect Net

An innovative and effective solution to protect your field crops. This net, measuring 6x125m and covering an area of 750m² per roll, is specially designed to stop cabbage flea beetles as well as various other harmful insects such as moths (cutworms, loopers, borers), flies, grasshoppers, locusts, and several beetles including pollen beetles and cabbage seed weevils.

Characteristics of the Anti-Insect Net:

Made of Water-resistant High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) with UV-resistant treatment stabilized at 300 Kly (3 to 4 seasons)
High mechanical resistance and excellent tear resistance
Rectangular mesh dimensions of 500μ x 800μ and a weight of 50g/m²
Effective barrier up to 100% against crop flies
Creates favorable climatic conditions for your crops by reducing wind damage and dehydration

The net should be unrolled immediately after sowing or transplanting directly in contact with the crop or on Nantes hoops/stakes. Make sure it is properly weighted down or buried at the edges to prevent insect intrusion. However, note that it does not stop the small cabbage flea beetle Phyllotreta nemorum but limits its rapid spread; it is also not effective against aphids, spider mites, whiteflies, or thrips.
